THE AMERICAN DREAM......

THE AMERICAN DREAM......I wake up every morning and truly thank God that I'm an American! Today, I reflect upon the journey I've taken over the last 20 years while roaming this earth as a warrior for good. First as a Navy SEAL commando/Combat Medic, then as a private military contractor, a private security consultant/entrepreneur, and a Physician Assistant. The path has been arduous to say the least. Along the way, I've had the pain of witnessing man's depravity of man on a wholesale scale all over the world. Yet, conversely, I've also had the pleasure to have seen many wonderful acts of love, kindness, generosity and humanity. Thankfully, the later outweighs the former. And this gives me hope. But, in a time when athletes are refusing to stand for our Anthem and our Flag is being burned in the streets and on college campuses, by those who have been, and are being, programmed to despise the very institution that affords them the ability to do so, I choose to be a positive reflection of that is good and wonderful about our great Nation. The term, 'The American Dream', exists for a reason. It exists because it is very REAL! It exists because women & men, since the Revolutionary War, have died to build it. We need to protect it and treat it like the prize posession that it is. That means having definitive but welcoming borders and enforcing visas and ending the harboring of illegal alien and punishing the big corporations that hire them. It also means removing those that are convicted of violent crimes. Yet, it also means  welcoming and legitimizing those who are legally here to live the American Dream, not to turn it into a nightmare!I believe in the U.S. Constitution, I believe in the Bill Of Rights, I believe in the Judeo-Christian values that helped to build this great Nation. And I believe that on those powerful foundations, we will persevere with continued compassion and acceptance for left & right and all races, religions, creeds, & colors. I also believe that we should continue to support life, liberty & happiness by relentlessly pursuing all those who threaten it. Wherever they may be. Experientially, I know that all true warriors hope and pray and strive for peace, but I also know it must be secured through swift and just acts of supreme action. The protracted wars we have waged, and are currently waging, are all examples of political appeasement, poor leadership and lack of total and pre-emptive resolve to win. Nobody wants 16 year wars, but as a Nation and a league of nations, that's what we do now. This is madness. We can assemble massive capabilities to crush those who threaten humanity.
