Chris McKinley is a former U.S. Navy SEAL and the current CEO & Co-ounder of Intracoastal Medical Solutions, PLLC and Coastline Wellness, LLC. He is a NCCPA Certified Physician Associate and holds a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Chris is fully licensed to practice as a Physician Associate in North Carolina, Florida, and in Ohio. Chris is the founder of four successful companies in the medical device and medical/security/training & consulting spaces. Chris is currently doing day to day patient care at Coastline Wellness at Waterford, a Functional Medicine & Psychiatric Wellness Medical practices in Southeastern, North Carolina . Chris specializes in Functional Medicine and Anti-Aging Meidcine as well as in treating Major Depression/Treatment Resistant Depression, PTSD, Anxiety, Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia as well as OCD, ADHD, and many other Psychiatric disorders. Mr. McKinley believes in 'muscle centric medicine'; believing that muscle is the key to movement and life. As such, Chris is the leading expert in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and Bioidentical Hormone Optimization Therapy ("B-HOT"), for men and for women along with being the regions #1 Peptide expert for weightloss without muscle loss, recovery, and sports performace. Additionally, Chris is the foremost IV Ketamine provider in the Southeastern region of North Carolina, having done thousands of infusions in the last several years. Nasal Spray Ketamine (esketamine) also known as "Spravato", is also another cutting egde treatment that he delivers.
During his military career, Chris served on SEAL Team 8 before joining a specialized Training Cell with Naval Special Warfare Group II. There, he was a close quarters combat and urban operations instructor. After leaving active duty, Chris performed duties as a Field Agent and Special Operations Section Leader for a private military contractor in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), and Al’ Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) in North Africa. Through these initiatives, Chris helped to both establish and enforce U.S. Foreign Policy on four continents.
Immediately following the termination of Osama Bin Laden on May 2nd 2011, Chris emerged as the news media's most featured Special Operations subject matter expert. Working directly under the direction of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Chris appeared in hundreds of interviews on Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, HLN, CBS, ABC, NBC, and many other Cable News Networks and radio networks. Chris starred on the Animal Planet TV Series: ‘Ivory Wars’ (2014) and is also heavily featured in the Discovery Channel specials; ‘Secrets of SEAL Team Six ‘ (June of 2011) and ‘Inside Bin Laden's Lair’ (August 2012), the History Channel's ‘America's Book of Secrets: Black Op's’ (April 2013), and the United Kingdom's Channel 4 documentary; ‘Wikileaks, Secrets and Lies: The Julian Assange Story’ & ‘The Real Story of American Sniper’, currently airing on the Reelz Channel. He was the official voice for Under Armor's hunting TV show “Ridge Reaper” on the Outdoor Channel. This show is now in syndicated release and can be found on-line as well.
Following a sanctioned assignment in Haiti in February 2019 that became the subject of widespread media coverage, many of the public reports surrounding the incident were inaccurate and highly speculative. As a result, Chris very slectively entertains media/television requests to provides commentary on matters related to terrorism, special operations, or the broader military community.
Today, Chris is professionally focused on expanding his thirving edical practice and educating patients and the public on topics related to Functional and Integrative Medicine, Psychiatry, Hormone Replacement Therapy and Peptide-based therapies. His clinical work emphasizes evidence-based approaches to muscle gain, fat loss, metabolic health, longevity, weight management, and overall wellness, including targeted supplementation, and comprehensive lifestyle optimization.
