Hi and thank you is the only appropriate way to begin this what must seem to be a strange email. Your face seems to be in many places lately both publicly and professionally. You have earned much more than admiration on my part in the form of the rarely felt true respect in one's life work.
I am a traveling registered nurse specializing also in cardio rehab and cardiac prosthetics rehabilitation. Being a true geek with a PhD in Comparative Religion and a specialty in ancient cultures and their religions leaves me often under whelmed by most people. A magnificent brain is rare and from your life story that's pretty much you.
I have a love for our troops and have a son which only a month ago was excepted in the Army Rangers training in GA. Great men like you motivate him more than any drill sergeant ..lol.
I wanted to offer my deepest gratitude for all you have and still currently are doing for our country. Medically you have made as many wonderful contributions as you did as a soldier. You have my respect and appreciation.
Maybe one day our paths will cross and I'll have the opportunity to say thank you...otherwise let this email express what you and men like you mean to us left behind in this anything but simple America. We have our very lives to live thanks to you.
Simply, thank you!
